Skittl - have you tried? If I were you, I'd look at dolls and clothes patterns from the fifties - an awful lot just consist of rectangles, etc. Sometimes I look at patterns and think, "They could have simplified this a lot, but they wanted people to think it was hard." It helps that my mom was a professional seamstress who made all of her own designs and patterns. I'm not nearly as good as her, but when I was a little girl she taught me a lot. Now that I'm older and interested in sewing, she's really excited and helps me figure things out whenever I reach a kink in the pattern making process. I get a lot of good hints from her [img]smile.gif[/img]
